I did not enjoy this book at all! I normally really enjoy memoirs from WWII but this novel felt like a lot of name dropping and really didn't get into any heartfelt thoughts or emotions.

It's a month from graduation and Quentin has his whole life mapped out. Graduation, then college (Duke), then LIFE. But things get a complete rehaul after his next door neighbor, former best friend and crush Margo Roth Spiegelman crawls into his window late one night. They're going to do 11 things that night and several of them require a fast getaway. Who can resist an invitation like that? Not Q. Their adventures that night would be a great book in and of itself, but it's only the beginning. I didn't know anything about this book except that Jen loved it (and do I need a better reason to read something? No, I do not) and I think that's the best way. So no, I won't tell you what they did or to whom or why. Or what happens next. I love John Green's books and am sad that now there are no more ones to read (I mean yes, technically Will Grayson, Will Grayson, but that's not the same thing). I love that he creates this world with these people that are so real and flawed and vulnerable and heroic and NOT AT ALL heroic all at the same time. I love that the friendships in his book feel so real and are just as important as the love interest parts. And I love and hate that his books are so fantastic, they make me incapable of saying anything other than "Read these books nownownow because they're so good and you'll love them."

One of the many Holocaust books I read repeatedly in junior high. They're all so touching.
