This is one of my guilty pleasure books. I know the writing is horrible, Bella is the wimpiest girl ever, and the whole dang book is really really cheesy. But I LOVE it. I can't even pinpoint why, I'm just drawn to it and have been since the first time I read it, and I think this was my fourth time. I thought for sure this time around the book would just seem really lame to me, but nope. I still, embarrassingly enough, loved it. I love the characters, I love the stupid little jokes, I love the cheesy romantic story that would never ever happen in real life (even if Edward was only a simple human)... Maybe it's because it reminds me of the fantasy life I always wanted when I was a young girl, that when you meet the love of your life, the two of you would simply be head over heals for each other forever, be showering each other with constant compliments, and never want to leave each others sides even for a minute. I honestly don't know what draws me to this book, and maybe I'll never figure it out. For anyone who hates this series, I totally can understand why, but you know what? For now, I think it's fun and a great book. Make fun of me all you want, I can take it.
