Interested in more of Lamott's work. This book was a bit too whimsical and predictable for my tastes. Great snapshot of the Bay Area.
This author was my college adivsor/professor (taught writing). Pretty good books-- I like the characters.
I am reading this one to my students now. They like it, but it is over the heads of some.
